Workarounds for SL2.0

There were a lot of workarounds we had to use in the regular viewer to make things function like they were supposed to.

For me the "Change Group Title To Load Unrezzed Avatars" workaround is back in my lineup for times when I just see clouds for people.

Another one is to Block/Mute someone in order to get Notices to load. I just open friends list, choose someone to block, block them, and my Notices pop up. (then I unblock them, of course

)

Also, no Linden $ balance showing up. Instead of having someone send $1L to get that to load, buy something (like a skin demo) for $0L. That causes your L$ balance to load.

Not sure why all these old bugs are back, but they are. Glad the old workarounds still work.

What are some of the workarounds you've had to find or resurrect for 2.0?

I work about Viewer 2.0 by using Emerald and Nicolas 1.17 if the latter is screwed up.

Emerald has always sucked on my computer (crashy, crashy), and now I'm a little bit addicted to the 2.0 viewer because I like discovering how illogical LL made everything that was so easily done with the regular top-bar menu and pie menu in the old viewer

The new pie menu drives me nuts... the old one I had no issue with.
