On their website, drummer Bill Ward has been removed from all the photos.
Now peeps who would know more about Black Sabbath might understand better than I what's going on there (there's no explanation on the website). But the way I've heard it, the band is supposed to be reunited and start touring again, and allegedly the drummer noted a disparity of some sort in how much of the proceeds certain band members were going to be contractually entitled to compared to other band members, and the drummer stated that he would not be able to join the tour unless the contract promised what he considered to be a more equal cut. In response, whoever is in charge of things ordered that the drummer be removed from any and all photos on the website.

these are the people that sabotaged the headlining band at ozzfest with power outages and egg-lobbing, infuriating the thousands of fans that had paid to see that band (iron maiden).
these are the people that screwed over the the drummer and bassist (and chief lyricist) of the blizzard of ozz and diary of a madman albums. they actually muted their tracks and rerecorded them using rob trujilo and some session drummer then re-released them as 'remasters'!
of course everyone knows sharon osbourne is at the core of this treachery.
Bear in mind the reason is ultimately unknown. It might be that since they couldn't reach an agreement the drummer demanded that his image not be used in promotional materials. We'll have to wait until some definitive statement comes out somewhere I guess.
Actually, it's not all of the photos on the site that have been altered -- there was a discussion about this a few days ago on one of the guitar sites that I frequent, so I looked at their site then. If you go to the 'History' page, the band's bio and all the accompanying photos are intact. It appears that it was primarily the photos on the main page that have been cropped. Still, I agree that it's a shitty thing to have done.
