Here in Yelm, someone walked into the Walmart and paid off the layaways for every employee of the store who was a single mother. I think the tab ran at least $5,000.00, but they didn't give an exact number.

I'm trying hard not to comment on the fact that Walmart pays its employees so little that they can't afford to shop at Walmart. This is still a feel-good story.
