(CNN) -- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention is a big, serious government agency with a big, serious job: protecting public health from threats ranging from hurricanes to bird flu.
So when the good doctors of Atlanta warned people this week about how to prepare for a zombie apocalypse, the world took notice.
"That's right, I said z-o-m-b-i-e a-p-o-c-a-l-y-p-s-e," Dr. Ali S. Khan wrote on the CDC website this week, adding casually that "Resident Evil" is his "personal favorite" zombie movie.

My Dyslexic friend (who was a flatmate at the time), was doing his divinity masters, I had to type up his dissertation, and read his source material, to make sure his quotes were correct.
So, in effect I ended up studying Isaiah along with him.
A large part of his paper was on the Lucifer = Jesus idea. (as I'm sure you're aware much of Isaiah is prophecy regarding the coming messiah).
His professor told him that his paper was one of the best he'd read in over 10 years.

I like what they did there, using the "fun" zombie topic to get people interested in basic survival, in case of any emergency.
Very effective.
I know, because I ended up reading through the CDC article!

So is "aim for the head" still the going strategy?

Well, now that they have them in English, I'm thinking about it.
You don't really get the nuances unless you read it in the original Hebrew, Aramaic and/or Koine Greek.

2 users laughed. The question is: Are they laughing with you, or at you?:
