Emerald already shows you the last owner of an object.

A chain of owners listing would be ideal.

Lots of people commit suicide. Lots of gangmebers kill each other. I care not for those people.

hmm is there any privacy issues being broken thou? What if its shared by alts or bought for you by someone who you do not want anyone to know about? How do we know that it wouldn't be used for all items?

Chain of custody and title searches work well irl. We have suggested them repeatedly throughout the years as a feature request only to fall on deaf ears.

Do you see any rays of hope that these ideas might see the light of day?

I have that too in Rainbow but it doesn't work reliable. If one changes the group of an object also the last owner changes to the current one. It's a nice feature but it's not bullet proof.
