I doubt that the iPhone or iPod Touch will ever get Flash but I read that supposedly Flash is coming to Android phones.

It has flash v9 (v10 is coming via update) and flash movies are no problem, I have played them myself.
I cannot vouch for Hulu and Farmville but I think I read that both are possible. Being in NZ I cannot access Hulu and I don't have a Farcebook account and so don't play farmville.

Not only is MicroB tone of the best web browsers available on a mobile you can also load Fennec which is basically a smaller firefox with most of the important things still in there.

Still not happen with compatibility? Load a Full Debian distribution on the device and run whatever you like.

Almost anything is possible on this machine because you get a root shell and it multitasks like a desktop...smoothly.
People have had it emulating Windows 95/98, MacOS X, dual-booting Android, running Quake 3 (at full speed), GIMP, OpenOffice, etc.

Not being *that* much of a geekette, I haven't done much with mine as it pretty much does everything I want out of the box with a few additions from the growing repository of apps available via the inbuilt application download manager.

You can read all about it here: http://talk.maemo.org

The most interesting parts are the Maemo 5 and the n900 sections.
I think pretty much any question you can think of has been asked there already.

*Dan goes to AT&T*

Hey, I would like cellphones for my family.

AT&T: Sure, 800$ deposit per phone.

Dan: Child please!

*Dan goes next door to radio shack*

Dan: I would like 3 cellphones for my family

RadioShack/Tmobile: 250 deposit period and 50 dollars for one of the phones.

Dan: Awwww yeah.

I now have a Motorola Cliq

I am amused that the pictures on the interwebs mostly show the mp3-player screens, which is a feature of the phone I've never ever used.

My particular phone is a special custom job, 'cause it's an orange phone, and the flip broke, and when I called to get a replacement all they had in stock was purple flips. So now I have a two-tone phone.

You are correct, but if I had a choice between jerking off with a cheese grater or going to Verizon I'm going to pick up the cheese grater.

First quarter this year, or so they claim. Allthough if Hulu switches to HTML5 flash will be pointless.

I've been with T-Mobile for almost a year and a half and have had no problems with them compared to some of the other cell phone companies I've dealt with. I've been with Altel, Sprint, Verizon and AT&T.

My HTC Diamond just died. Shortly after its 1st birthday. I did not really like it from day one, touch screen sucks. Only good thing was the small size. And it was white like a small iPhone. It hated me, so did I. R.I.P. Expensive sh*t. HTC never again.

I wasn't sure about the touch screen at first. Its hard for me cause I have naturally long nails. Then found this thing that did callibration or whatever. It had me type in a sentense. After that I can type out txt faster then on a normal phone keyboard.

I just got one yesterday through my companies plan instead of paying for one that was a crazy cost saved about a 100.00. It was the orig iphone and I never even used it really nor any of the stuff you could do. So I wanted a simple phone and got the T Mobile Tap. Its a nice looking phone but, I dont think I like it. Its odd using the touch screen on it but it was a free one with the plan I picked. I can exchange it within 2 weeks. Just do not know. Was so tempted to get that my touch Eric Clapton Fender edition thou. o.O

I need a nice easy phone that is easy to use a touch screen that doesnt have all the bells and whistles through T Mobile just do not know which one.

You would have to wait awhile before you could get the myTouch Fender Edition anyway since T-Mobile sold out of them about a week or so ago and had to order more from HTC.

I currently use this Nokia

I have an LG Voyager sitting around, (my daughter sent to me when she bought her BlackBerry) I just need to go down to Verizen to switch over.

voyager-1.jpg

I had many problems with AT&T, none with Verizen so far - and been with them for over a year now.

I am now successfully running my Touch Pro 2 in dual boot, with both WinMo 6.5 and Android.

Android is working brilliantly. Will have some photos when I get batteries for my camera.

Android OS 2.2 is suppose to have full Flash 10.1 support. There is a new browser for Android called SkyFire 2.0 beta and you cab view Flash videos with it but it doesn't work for Hulu.

I have the Samsung intercept. Yes, in Pink. Cover should be waiting at my door today. I would have had to wait another 3 weeks to get it and I wanted the phone and to be proficient when using it before I'm on the Oregon coast for a week with it being my only lifeline to things like Yelp and stuff.

Also thanks to my company I paid nothing for the phone, and it's 24% off my plan.
