I looked at quite a few lassi recipes. They all have yogurt in common, but like curry, there is a different recipe for every household.

Rosewater is one of many many delightful possibilities, all nom.

My left mouse key seems to be sticky so my apologies if I accidentally stabbed anyone with a rusty screwdriver. I'd be happy to give a tetanus booster on the house.

Elora - I keep a box of exam or lab style gloves in my kitchen for doing stuff like chopping loads of jalapenos, butchering chickens, polishing silver, etc. You could wear gloves while working with the mango skins.

Ancient chef trick. I used to work at a Southwestern restaurant; we had a new kid come on; the first job of any newbie is to chop veggies for the pico de gallo (we're talking like 5 gallons). He didn't wear gloves. He chopped jalapenos. He went to the bathroom. He went home crying. Poor guy.

If you have problems with latex, nitrile gloves are also available.

Talk about learning a lesson the hard way. Thanks, Oryx, for the tip in case I ever have to cut more than a few at a time.

No one promised a rose garden but I find anyway ...

Tossing and turning, tangled
in the sheets, pawing at the dangling
string, mewing and purring ...
Oh - why does this keep occurring -
everytime I try to sleep -

Bouncing and hopping, running along
chasing a bunny wearing a thong -
the bunny, that is, wearing the leathery
thong. Spotting something feathery,
I turn and run, going deep -

I leap, I pounce, I catch that -
Hey! That hurts. Wiggling cat
trying to wiggle free from those sharp thorns
What's the big idea? Remove your horns
or I'll rip you to shreds, you big rosy creep!

Are they too complicated to do online by yourself? It should be pretty simple if you don't have any deductions other than yourself.

I want someone else to do them. Federal, state, city. I've never had to do one after I had moved part way through the year, with unemployment insurance from a third entity. Heck, I did last years somewhat distracted while moving to NY. Couple weeks, months later I got a check from govt saying I should have gotten a larger refund. If I messed up the simple, in a way govt pays me more than I expect, I don't want to mess up hard and owe more than I claim.

Taxes done. Apartment renewal package sent. Huge weight lifted. I've been worrying about taxes since March of 2011. Though I wasn't worried about 2010 taxes, which I had to do while worrying about 2011 taxes. heh

I missed Valentine's day party. Just completely forgot it. Missed other groups Mardi Gras parties so I hope I remember this one.

Reminds me that I still don't have any form of Mardi Gras outfit.

Gee, I'd like to be active in SL again. I have a bit more energy again now that some health issues I didn't know I had have been dealt with, and the uber-stress at work has diminished.

I logged in today but find myself having to relearn a lot, what with the viewer change. SL still looks deserted too. Any events coming up?

Cheers!

I can totally relate Weston. I've only recently logged in after being away for months due to graphics card issues. Finally got around to replacing my card and power supply and it felt like being a noob all over again.

My computer is kind of dying. I have some kind of mental block and when I look at "what should I get" computer threads, my eyes glaze over and it all becomes gibberish.

I really have no clue what any of the terms mean, and, in the past, I've just looked at my favorite game and used it as a base. But that dosent help this time.

I guess I'll just live without a computer and without SL.
