Exclamation Official Who Left SC and Came Back Thread

Ok, I am having a hard time catching up since vivianne wont publish her drama summaries anymore

it looks like dancien left, and beezle came back, but im not sure

i heard lias left too, and Kyrah too, along with tya, but i cant tell

i thought seven was leaving, but it doesnt look like it

i hear gabe is back, but i refuse to believe such nonsense

can someone sticky this or something and when someone leaves in a thread, can someone link that post here so we can all keep up with who is abandoning/returning to the community and see what preceded it?

this is in the communities interest

it will make things so much easier to follow for everyone unless someone wants to pick up doing the drama summary...

(cornfield status might be needed as well)

I left for a while to go have dinner and read. I'm back now, but I'll be leaving again shortly to go to bed. I may or may not be back tomorrow sometime.

Default A time to leave and a time to return again

I ALWAYS thought the Byrds were covering a Bobby Dylan song, but this is Pete Seger's writing:
Quote:
To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven

A time to be born, a time to die
A time to plant, a time to reap
A time to kill, a time to heal
A time to laugh, a time to weep

To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven

A time to build up,a time to break down
A time to dance, a time to mourn
A time to cast away stones, a time to gather stones together

To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven

A time of love, a time of hate
A time of war, a time of peace
A time you may embrace, a time to refrain from embracing

To Everything (Turn, Turn, Turn)
There is a season (Turn, Turn, Turn)
And a time to every purpose, under Heaven

A time to gain, a time to lose
A time to rend, a time to sew
A time for love, a time for hate
A time for peace, I swear it's not too late

There needs to be a Dramatic Exit Rating too.

At one end of the scale is the 'Important Announcement' thread in which a person announces all of the reasons they're leaving and how our lives are going to be affected by it.

At the other end of the scale would be a disappearing act.

there is a long tradition of picking at scabs here

Important Announcement is absolutely the correct way to announce ones exit

followed by a brief cameo reappearance from an alt the admin forgot about

ps the mk2 version seems to be removing ones avatar, but i have seen some spamtards do that out of protest making that an unreliable method

I guess the lesson here is that it's better to just disappear than to say that you're leaving.
