Default Getting RL Money Out Thru XStreet

I have been told this is a quicker way for the funds to end up in my PayPal - but I am not seeing how to do this. I just tried and ended up transfering money form inworld to XStreet and back inworld...

How do I accomplish the transfer? I know I can do from Dashboard, but that can take upwards of a week - TIA

When you learn the answer, please put it here if it's not already. I saw someone post an IM about this last night in the Concierge Information Group, advice on how to quickly convert Lindens into real world money, and there was concurrence from others though no explanation of how or why.

Transfer L to your Xstreet account. Scroll across the shopping tab at the top closer to the left. On that menu the very last option on the bottom is Xstreet exchange. Click that. In the currency exchange box on that page click "sell L". Sell your L use "get best price I can get immediately" option if you need it right away.

It sells then on the right where it shows your in game and xstreet balance it will now also show your USD amount. Under that there is a withdraw button. Click that and then it walks you through and you enter your paypal address twice, and then "process request". It usually transfers the money in a matter of seconds.

They don't make it easy to figure out.

I used to get cashouts from Xstreet (when it was SLX) almost instantaneously. Then they started implementing a "within 48 hours" thing, not always, but unpredictably.

I use apez.biz now and always get instant service, though admittedly it's been a long while since I've cashed anything out.

First time cashout can take a few days through XStreet, after that it is literally seconds. Probably they have to do some screening on you the first time :-)

If you are really in a hurry, we can do it through my account as well, since my transfers are immediately.

Thank you so much Marcel - nah it will keep. I had wanted to buy husband a part for his ATV. Now he is out of work so riding will be the last thing on his mind

With the new XStreet/In-world balances pooled together, you no longer need to transfer- even if your account looks as if you have two balances.

I placed an order to sell and it automaticaly took my XStreet funds and pooled it with my in-world balance and processed- now let's see if I get my asking price. I went right under bid amount.

So never having placed an order where i dictate the price I want, realistically speaking... what can i expect?

It says this:
Current Rate USD/L$
Bid/Ask 268.5/274.2
Daily High 278.9
Daily Low 265.0
Daily Volume 7,194,224

And what the heck is a pip?
