That would be neat, but you'd have to use voice or just type slow...

Ok, I've done very little looking at it. But as far as I can tell it's not a graphical interface, more a text and interaction portal. I'll do more checking later but I was disappointed not because of what it was but because it wasn't what I expected, which of course is not it's fault

Lumiya is a client for android that provides a 3d world view. I believe iWidgets only have a text based client available currently. If you have an android device lumiya is quite usable.

Sent from my Droid.

I have something called Pocket MV on my iPad, but it just logs you in to chat, no 3D. Going to check out Lumiya.

Here's a few screenshots from my Lumiya Client. It's running on a Gen 1 Kindle Fire and I have no issues moving about and rendering. The initial logon is a bit slow, drawing the original scene but I noticed the more you seem to use it the better it gets.

There's some issues with the client, like it doesn't render mesh yet, but she's taken the app from a text based client to a full blown 3d viewer in less than a year, so I'm optimistic about it's development cycle.

It's $2.95 on the Google Play Store.

Yeah, not available on iPad, but I'm going to try it on my kindle fire when I can generate $2.95 in my bank account.

My Kindle Fire is running Jellybean, I'm not sure if that will make a difference. You can sideload the Google Play store on your Kindle without rooting it, which should allow you to run most of the apps on the play store.

I only rooted and flashed mine because I was curious about the process (Jellybean seems to make the Kindle come to life a bit better, and the battery life is much improved).

If you're interested in doing something similar there's a one-click tool for the KFire and plenty of ROMs available for experimentation. I'm using Hashcode's October release of Jellybean.
