Bet that "one bridge per system" rule really poured some sand down a few pairs of pants out in null.

Eh. The biggest issue was rerouting everything and the general clusterfuck of all my bookmarks being bad et al. Now that it's all calmed down I'm fine. I don't do my isk generation in nullsec anymore anyways, so my most expensive ships are in low. All my combat hulls are in nullsec and most of them can either deal with gatecamps or escape them.

Also I prefer minmatar ships, or at least the Hurricane at any rate.

Behold the GFS Boosh. It has never been defeated in combat and I have flown it regularly since the fountain campaign last year.

So, while I'm in an app-sharing mood - any of you got iPhones/Pods/Pads?

There used to be an app called "Capsuleer" that let you keep track of your skill queue on your device. It would give you alerts when skills were done or you had less than 24h left, and you could browse your skills and stuff. It was great until the people who made it wanted to make it a pay app; CCP did not grant them a license, so they stopped supporting the app.

That was too bad. There was another free app, called iClone, that also tracked your skill queue...and had a browse-able items list, and an interactive 3D map of EVE with clickable stars where you'd get information about the stations and services in each system, and a working jump planner, and even a list of all your assets and which system they were in. Sounds great yeah? Well it was; the only problem was it was kind of a top heavy app and updating your character information took forever. It was also...visually quite amateurish compared to the very sleek professional-looking Capsuleer. But, there was nothing else at the time, so I had iClone for the longest time.

Well, a couple of days ago I just happened to check to see if there were any new EVE apps. There are a couple. They all check your skill queue of course, and your wallet, and your POSes. The closest in form and function to Capsuleer is this one called "Dusk". Looks sleek and pretty. Doesn't have the maps or jump planner or asset lists, etc, that iClone has; but who uses that stuff anyway?

But, I don't recommend Dusk. Instead, I recommend a different free app called "EVE Universe". Why?

Because it comes with a fully functional and accurate fitting tool.

A fitting tool. On your phone.

Srsly. I just wasted like 3 hours playing with all kinds of fits. On my fit tool. On my iPod.

They pretty much destroyed the NC and have taken all their space. Their pets tried to continue the campaign and crashed into fortress Deklein where we promptly rapecaged their staging towers and trapped half of their supercap fleet in system with 1000 angry goons for about two weeks. When they finally broke out they suddenly remembered they had left the kitchen lights on in the south and have promptly fucked off to the other side of Eve. The north is half Clusterfuck coalition (goons) half Russian. The East is entirely Russian and the West is entirely Clusterfuck. For the record: Goonswarm vs the entire Russian bloc is unlikely to ever happen.

We run them all the time. Vanguards can net you a cool 100M/h not including the LP rewards. Not to mention an incursion gang properly fit omnitanks with huge buffer and is loaded with logi, so it's generally a tough nut for pirates to crack.

Incursions is the reason I'm I have a few billion+ faction fit ships floating around Deklein

They also keep me in vagabonds.

Oh and don't run Mothership sites till it's retreating, fucking pubbies, learn to farm :shakes fist:

Side note: Gooncursions always keeps real honest to god PVP ships ready to go in the event of a Mothership snipe. A bunch of highsec carebears tried to snipe the MS before we were done farming the incursion last week. We dropped twenty neuting facerape fit hurricanes into their incursion fleet and killed all of their logi.

So if you are interested in getting into the biggest clusterfuck ever seen: head to delve.

There are many 3 and 4 way fights going right now.

MM and Brick will jump Evoke, while they are fighting Black Legion will jump in and start killing everyone, then we'll drop in for fun too.

Nothing like 4 fleets hitting eachother, none of them friends

Oh, I just realized that you might have interpreted the picture as "still waiting on original poster" and merely posted because you thought I was waiting for you to say something else.

What I really meant was "still waiting on fleet op to begin" as in: "I think I will freeze to death and die as an ice cube before everyone gets their crap together."

But then, maybe my realization was wrong and you posted just because the thread popped up.

This is why we have a shoutcast stream for fleet ops. We can listen to music while waiting for our glorious FC to take us on a three hour trip to kill some guy who went afk on a gate in his drake.

Maller isn't a good solo ship. Crosstrain minmatar into a hurricane with auto's and neuts and pvp will become a lot easier. Also lowsec is chalk full of piratey e-honour solo pvp superstars. Get out of low.

I did some touchups to my setup and got the Maller up to 120dps. I'm too racist to crosstrain. =^-^=

I kinda like the piratey stuff in losec. Sure, I've lost a couple ships, but it was a nice lightshow while it lasted. I haven't ratted below 0.4, though. Anything lower and I'm just pass'n through. (^_^)

well if you are dead set into ratting etc with Amarr ships you had better head towards Blood Raider space, they are the only ones that are really weak to lasers.

My Oneiros was equipped with the following:

I'm stepping away from EVE until January, after I move in RL. Got preparations and f'ing lots of packing to do.

OTOH, interested that ninja hijinks can no longer insta-red repping logis. I think when I return early next year I'm going to join a friend of mine running incursions a bit more regularly and carebear it for a little while as I quietly skill up. What can I say? I love being a logi in a fleet. It's so much more fastpaced and energy-consuming than point-click-waitawhileforpop........point-click-waitawhileforpop, and for that reason I likes it.

I'm already been max-skilled for logi on my one (and only) MC. I'm skilling up other stuff right now. Thinking of taking the plunge into capitals, but that may have wait until after the expansion, when any extra necessary skills for the new pocket battleships will take priority over everything else.

Glad I got solid hybrid skills, what with the rebalancing and all. I knew concentrating on Gallente would pay off eventually.

Actually no, I had no reason to think so at all; I just felt like it. Happy accident.

Depends on the 0.0 really. You can flit around the edges of goon space fairly easily, but if you make yourself annoying a Deklein Police gang will come rape you.

I tend to avoid NPC 0.0 that has easy access to empire too. Venal isn't a bad place to live though.

Damn, I had to look up what you were all talking about (the details, I'd already heard of EVE and GoonSwarm) and now I've become intrigued. The question is... can I afford the time to indulge in a new pastime?
