OK, now that The Avengers have rocked the box office (and hopefully you've had a chance to see it -- if not, drop whatever you're doing and go see it. NOW!), what other movies are you looking forward to seeing?

Here's my list:

MEN IN BLACK III - opens May 25

SNOW WHITE AND THE HUNTSMAN - opens June 1

ROCK OF AGES - opens June 15

Also, there are noisings about that "Bill and Ted 3" is in the works. EXCELLENT!

Just got back from The Avengers - wow, that was fantastic.

Saw a trailer for Tim Burton's "Frankenweenie", animation of a young boy who's dog dies and he brings him back to life a la Frankenstein. This looks sick, and hilarious as only Burton could do. Can't wait for this one.

"Brave" is looking pretty great also. We'll be jumping to that one too.

Prometheus -June 8th
Looking forward to seeing that one.

Amazing Spider-man looks pretty good.
At least the actor seems more like Peters Joking self when fighting bad guys.

I do want to see ROCK OF AGES I will most likely wait till it hits my local small theater where the tickets are 4.00 dollars.

This Christmas - First part of the Hobbit

There's another Snow White movie out too, with Julia Roberts as the Queen. Would be fun to see them both, especially with "Once Upon a Time" on TV.

It's a reboot, kinda like how they made "Superman Returns" with Brandon Routh without it being related to the Christopher Reed series of Superman films.

Oh, did I mention they're also doing a new Superman movie?

Yes Superman is being redone.
Russel Crow is playing Superman's Father.
And they are doing General Zod.

Spiderman is a reboot since in order for the movie studio to keep the rights to it they have to do a new movie every so often. The rights would have gone back to Marvel and Disney if they didn't

some critics are complaining that the "perfectly blur-free frame rate robs the film of any 'cinematic' quality" and resembles a soap opera look.

Jackson has warned audiences the new approach would take time to adjust to.

It just does not look quite right to me but i will not miss it

You didn't... know... any of the vengers...?

You poor, deprived thing.

Seriously.

Thor made his Marvel debut in 1962, as did the Hulk.

Iron Man first came out in 1963.

Hawkeye and Natasha "Black Widow" Romanoff both first appeared in 1964.

You were either a non-comics fan, a DC girl, or a *shudder* Archie fan. Which is it?

None of the above.

What is a "non-comics fan"?

I know the Hulk because he was on TV.

I do not think such is possible. Though including the bod and the biceps would be an improvement.

Mind you, it's purely a matter of aesthetic appreciation in my case. He's too young for me. If I got him, I probably wouldn't know what to do with him. Except maybe cook him something!
