As an expert on it, perhaps you could describe it to us rebellious colonists?

It's a celebrity quiz show?

Not in the sense of American ones. There are tons of "panel" shows on the BBC etc. but there are no "prize" winners. They are usually done for the sake of comedy.

I don't watch much American tv, but there's at least one radio show that it reminds me of: "Wait, wait, don't tell me!" It's comedy in the guise of a quiz show.

I seldom watch American TV with Walking Dead and Supernatural being the exceptions.

The British love to take the piss out of everything and that includes anyone with too high of an opinion of themselves. Yes the country made of classes has changed a lot. What I couldn't show you is when they started taking the piss out of Lemmy and he walked off.

Not all are just for comedy. QI is a brilliant show that shows you just how much you don't really know and how much misinformation you learned in school. All done with humour and little to no censorship.

Thank you, Zorena. I'm still left with one puzzle, one that googling "buzzcock" has not clarified. There are so many definitions and references that the humor(?) of the title "Nevermind the Buzzcocks" is a little lost to this American. It must not only have a meaning but a context within which it might be heard that make it a funny title for a comic quiz show that includes pantomime.

It's origins derive from The Sex Pistols Nevermind the Bullocks and a punk band called the Buzzcocks. As it's a music based panel show why not start mocking British bands first with the name. ^.^

I'm finally at the stage of life where at least one thing has solid confirmation: I'm not going to be one of the 1%, and I'll never own anything in those realms (the cars in the video). I think at some point in the next couple of years I'm going to start looking at going to one of those schools where you get a week to get trained on really fast, good-handling cars. Or, at the very least, do some one-day rentals of suitably excellent little cars and head up onto the local mountain roads for a day of zipping around.

FFS, a tuxedo and a Prius is such a loserly combination.
