I tend to stick with a very basic routine as far as my face is concerned, but when it comes to oils and such I like various scents but they really need to absorb fast and not leave my skin feeling greasy. Theirs are good, I love the lavender hand cream best. It's good for feet too
I keep wanting to try the almond body oil. Now that I saw this, it was a good reminder. Next time I'm in the store I think I'll pick some up.
I love olive oil - right on the skin. I always feel vaguely Biblical when I put it on.
I'm looking for a good recipe for lanolin body oil - we'll have loads of lanolin after we wash the sheeps' wool. Or maybe soaps.
You know, I was going to mention the olive oil too, but for some reason didn't. My ex-husband and I both used to use this, he introduced me to it when he first me, as a massage oil. I thought he was nuts, but being he was Sicilian, I think it was kind of ingrained in his family. Really worked great. I still use it in the kitchen at times since it's always right there (although I have to make sure NOT to grab the expensive bottle I use for salads!)
