That is funny, it looks like something one WOULD find in SL.

As for me... maybe some of the works by Gaudi, such as Casa Mila.

Being mili-history geek, I would love to set up about twenty opensims for WWII simulations. Get fighters, bombers, artillery infantry, and all the cool stuff that never saw combat in one room.

Quote:
Heinkel's He 162 Volksjäger ("People's Fighter", named after the Volkssturm) was a German single-engine, jet-powered fighter aircraft fielded by the Luftwaffe in World War II. Designed and built quickly, and made primarily of wood as metals were in very short supply and prioritised for other aircraft, the He 162 was nevertheless the fastest of the first generation of Axis and Allied jets. Volksjäger was the Reich Air Ministry's official name for the He 162. Other names given to the plane include Salamander, which was the codename of its construction program, and Spatz ("Sparrow"), which was the name given to the plane by Heinkel.

Quote:
The Panzerkampfwagen VIII Maus (Sd.Kfz 205) was a German super-heavy tank design, and the heaviest tank to reach the complete working prototype stage in World War II. The basic design known as the VK7001/Porsche Type 205 was suggested by Ferdinand Porsche to Adolf Hitler in June 1942, who subsequently approved it. The design up to then had been the culmination of work done by Porsche who had won the contract for the heavy tank that March. Work on the design began in earnest; the first prototype, to be ready in 1943 was initially to receive the name Mammut (Ger. "Mammoth"). This was reportedly changed to Mäuschen (Little Mouse) in December 1942 and finally Maus (Mouse) in February 1943.

Quote:
The Goliath tracked mine (complete name: Leichter Ladungsträger Goliath (Sd.Kfz. 302/303a/303b)) was a remote controlled German-engineered demolition vehicle, also known as the beetle tank to Allies. Employed by the Wehrmacht during World War II, this caterpillar-tracked vehicle was approximately four feet long, two wide, and one tall. It carried 75–100 kg (165–220 lb) of high explosives and was intended to be used for multiple purposes, such as destroying tanks, disrupting dense infantry formations, and demolition of buildings and bridges.

That's the first picture of one I have seen. I thought it was a court-recorder's machine for a few seconds. It's interesting that despite being German and using the Qwertz layout, it has none of the normal umlauted vowels (ä, ö, ü) and no ß (which can be typed as "ss", it looks like a B but is not). Thus, for example, the common German verb "müssen" would be rendered as "muessen." So the Enigma has the minimum character set required to write German words, not the normal character set.
