I wanted so bad to be able to play well but I know I suck. These folks are playing Dungeons and Dragons and all sorts of comples serious games in their space stations.

So I made my space station for the Logos Card Player that is just starting out and wants to better his game.No pressure on Orthodox. I made a role play back story for the station and everything. I will now introduce Orthodox 700:

Orthodox is a planet asteroid located in the furthest recesses of the 12th quadrant. It is rumored to have gotten its name because of the extensive religious settlement that developed there 100 years ago and then suddenly disappeared leaving behind scatterings of religious artifacts. The fate of the
settlers is a 100 year old mystery.

The Logos Card Game play station is abandoned space junk that got caught in the gravity of the planet. It floats 700 meters above Orthodox. A group of space bums came across the structure and took up residence.

To support themselves they battle in the intergalactic card game of Logos. Some in their group have spent time setting up training areas and giving free instructions to new logos card game players that come across Orthodox.

I'm at work right now, and for reasons that will become apparent shortly, busy busy this week.

Last Friday night, about 11:00 or so, my father died after a long, hard, gradual descent through illness and alzheimer's. Before you ask, I'm okay. In fact, in a lot of ways, I'm pretty relieved - dad's last couple of years were anything but easy on him, my mom, or the rest of the family. He deserved the rest, for sure.


...Anyway, I have a viewing to attend tomorrow, and a funeral the day after that, with lots of family business and preparations and all of that to do between now and then. So, no show tomorrow night.

I'll be back in action next week, though. Until then, for those of you with the luxury of having a dad around: consider giving them an extra hug this week, hmm?

Conducting it manually was always a logistical nightmare.

We would have 8 Men and and Women sitting and having timed dates. At the end of the date they would reward each other prim hearts (to coincide with how good of a date they were). The person with the most hearts at the end of the event (male and Female) would win the prize money.

So no more prims hearts all over the place! Shane Nielsen took on my project and created my Speed Dating score board (I created the texture). I like working with a scripter who can see what the customer really wants and deliver within a week.
