Oh noes - mushroom season is almost over!!! :freakout:
Yaaar, matey, we went up to the mountains this morning and spent 3 hours climbing up rocks, over branches, through swamps, and past moose crap. But it was all well worth it as we brought back home over 3 bags of mushrooms.
Why mushrooms at the grocery store suck:
1. They don't smell like the woods and often don't have a smell at all.
2. They are bland and tasteless. It's like eating cardboard. Nothing compares to the real deal.
3. They are expensive and come in tiny small-ass boxes or in jars.
4. You miss all the fun looking for them and you don't get the much needed exercise (Yeah, I know you).
5. They are raised on a mushroom farm and kept in little cages unlike their free-roam counterparts. :freakout:
THE NEXT FEW DAYS WILL BE MUSHROOMS FOR BREAKFAST LUNCH AND DINNER!!!!**
**don't go mushroom hunting unless you know what you're doing, or else you'll die a horrible poisonous death.
