Although I think the MFZ thread (http://www.secondcitizen.net/Forum/showthread.php?t=1657) has always been about breakfast (mainly). Here's Grady's usual:

eggs heavy with fresh ground pepper, everything bagel (everything bagel thin for :kita:), and morningstar far maple sausage patty sandwich

most vegetarian meat options arent as good as the item they are substituting for at all, the morningstar patties are actually much better than real sausage patties, especially the maple ones

This morning I had a Bacon and Egg Artisan Sandwich from Starbucks and a Venti Iced Coffee with Milk; and spent way too much money. I also had this cute dog begging me for scraps - my boss brought him in today (his name is Rodeo and he is being all pseudo-ferocious here hehe)

I want to compliment you on your egg making skills. Nice and pale yellow, no discernible brown edges or spotting. Yummy.

Our town had a Heritage Festival (celebrate towns heritage and walk around in historic buildings at the street fair) downtown today so we skipped breakfast, took a walk downtown, and had horrible but delicious fair food. I had pulled pork sandwich and fresh lemonade. The kids had corn dogs and Italian ice.

Every morning, Ren makes a cappucino for the both of us. We generally follow it up with grapefruit or some kind of toasted english muffin; if I'm down for the count, he makes yoghurt with fruit for Monkey and himself.

The owner of the last company I used to work for would bring in the sweetest pink grapefruits from his yard. I miss those so much.

Bunns, I sometimes get mild nausea in the mornings, and a mild breakfast helps a TON. Even just a protein bar. Look for ones with at least 10 grams of protein per 200 calories, and as little sugar as possible. DO NOT get the balance bars or any other ones made out of formed protein paste. YUCK!!!! Ones made out of the little soy crunchies are all really good! Examples are the Special K protein meal bars, Luna bars (I am not a huge fan, but lots of people like them), South Beach Living protein meal bars, Kashi go lean crunchy bars, and Cliff Mojo (less carbs and sugar than the normal cliff, and imho, way yummier!)

before i went to bed last night, i made :kita: and i breakfast
she loves Ihops harvest grain and nut pancakes, but i wont take her out for junk food
so i made a Copycat IHOP Harvest Grain & Nut Pancakes (http://www.recipezaar.com/recipe/Copycat-IHOP-Harvest-Grain-Nut-Pancakes-63138) with added pecans and slived leftover figs. Plated with 2 maple sausage links, topped with plastic wrap, and nuked when awoken, and covered in 100% pure organic maple.
They are VERY good, but they dont hold their shape well when flipping. They take a little longer to make and are kind of a pain, but the taste is better than the ihop ones, way better (dont really need syrup for them), and they are actually good for you what with the whole grains and nuts.

i require a good strong energy drink before work
the cheapest we can find the monster lo carb is $30 for 15 of them
this powder, with shipping, was just under $12 (with a retailmenot.com 5% discount)
100 grams of pure caffeine
strong dose of caffeine = approx 200 miligrams
so here i have brought my caffeine cost per day from around $2 (plus tax and crv) to approx $0.024 a day
:woohoo:
now i gotta test if you can do lines of pure caffeine
say hello to my lil friend!!!!
i am digging the bulk aspect of this, i know people who are interested in research chemicals already discovered this
and i can add it to drinks, frost my flakes with it, make caffeinated soup
i could really fuck with people and make the worlds most potent flapjacks (if i purchase a secret ingredient) (http://www.liquidchemresearch.com/online-store.php)
ok, that would be mean (funny but mean), and i cant use it as a food additive per the terms of purchase

I'm the same way. Mulch nailed it, it's because you fuel your metabolism. If I don't have fruit or something small to snack on mid-morning I usually just skip breakfast so that I don't feel like I'm starving at lunch.

I just made a perfect omelet. I mean *PERFECT* I should have taken a photograph, but eggs go cold so fast. It was Julia Child perfect, looks and flavor. Ghosty is freaking out over it.
Gruyere cheese, spinach, shallots and bacon. Not overstuffed, just enough to flavor it without overwhelming the eggs. Not a single brown speck on it. Served with toasted/buttered country white bread.
Fucking perfect.
