Gmail slow weekday mornings?

Has anyone else noticed their gmail becoming painfully slow weekday mornings?

I'm wondering if I'm on an overloaded server or something. I got plenty of chances to check from home last week when I was sick :sick: and it's not my work network...

I haven't experienced a slowness issue on either of my accounts. And my main account is pretty active. I'd guess the server for your region.

Have you tried switching the format that you're using (i.e. Gmail view: standard | turn off chat | turn off buzz | older version | basic HTML)?

Even in basic HTML it seems to stall out for seconds at a time. Idk. Maybe it's a sign I should not be checking my email so often.

Do you use the Chrome browser? Believe it or not the rumors are true that it does work faster with Gmail (and other G-products).

I also use the Gmail Notifier; so I'm less apt to just have it open unless I need it.

I've seen it happen in Chrome on both windows (work) and mac (home). Meh. Not a huge deal, just annoying.

I think Google was having probs last week. Google image search was returning a lot of missing images.
