I rather suspect lawyers from leading republicans (McCain and Palin especially) have thoroughly investigated this lead. If there was something questionable about Obama's birthplace, I'm fairly confident it would be outed as more than a rumor.

The picture is just silly, no worries... The poll was the main point of the post.

Oh I know it's parody! I wasn't aiming that at you, just making a general statement. There are some very valid criticism to be made of the Obama administration, but the whole birth certificate one is just silly.

You are evil Satanist Republifucks looking to challenge our One True Savio(u)r and Lord. Be careful -- BARACK OBAMA WILL FUCK YOU UP.

Likely story. You're probably 1500 words deep already, but taking a break for tea and biscuits before finishing.

If I recall correctly, this was a rumor born from the primaries when Clinton and Obama were having their bout, the Birthers can't even come up with their own conspiracy theories FFS.

It was discredited back then, it is still discredited now.

While I often (but not always) disagree with WHAT he's doing, I'm glad that he is at least doing SOMETHING. Change is needed and he's proving it can be done. On the other hand, the GOP still hasn't pulled out of it's 8 year tailspin nor have they come out with a coherent message (or a competent figurehead) so the best I can make of their strategy for the next election is to hope the Dems screw things up so badly that the GOP will win because people were voting *against* the Dems.

Obama is even more ridiculous than I expected he'd be. Hopefully America will learn that electing people with no experience to the presidency is a really bad idea, even if they are nice looking and good at reading a speech.

It'd odd how every once in awhile America forgets that socialism and lefties are terrible things. It's like each new generation has to experience it for themselves.

Yes, but if we didn't elect him then we'd all be bigots and racists and nobody wants to be a racist bigot. Nosiree.
