Ok. Well i need to vent.
I went against my better judgment and ordered a pc, instead of building a new one. Yes, I ordered from Dell.:headslap:
My delivery date was set for Sept 28, next Monday. When i called on Friday, I was told it was shipping out on Monday, the 21. I had yet to receive a tracking number.
So after being on hold for 35 minutes, I wanted a tracking number. The guy told me over the phone they are waiting on a part. I am like, wtf. When I spoke to Dell last week, I asked if my parts where in stock, as I heavily customized the pc. He said yes.
The gentleman over the phone tonight said, yes your items are in stock, they are waiting on the color. I said I ordered black and then he tells me its not a common color. I am thinking WTF. Black is bloody standard. I said well if i just change the color will that fix the problem he said no. I then proceeded to tell him, from my understanding, if there is a delay in my order, I would be contacted to discuss my options. No one contacted me. Hell, if I knew this i would have ordered a pink one.
I hate my husband's pc, my old one still works, but the state it is in, I am freaked that I am going to burn it out. I have so much work to finish in SL, including, completing my store and sim. New items I have to release. I am almost a month behind!
