I'm getting these weird streaks on my monitor. I thought it was just :sc:, but it's on FB and on my windows. Does this mean I need to start saving for a new monitor?

I don't know what you're seeing, Sans. The screenshot looks fine. But streaks all the way across your monitor sound more like your video card. Try different resolutions, like 800x600 and see what changes.

More weirdness: P2 can see the streaks on my monitor and in the photo above on my monitor, but he doesn't see the streaks on the photo on his monitor. :freakout:

Yeah, still seeing them at 800x600.
It's easy enough to change monitors temporarily. If the problem moves with the monitor, it's the monitor, if it stays with your computer, it's your graphics card.
But first, check that the connections are all good, the cable connections.
If the cable connections are good, then decide whether to open up the computer, then, POWER OFF, check that the video card is properly seated in its socket. THEN, if the problem persists, switch monitors.

It's onboard video, but I'll swap out her monitor for mine in the morning.

Monitor going out?
Well, personally I think it's a bad idea but definitely keep it away from the printer. He's bad news.

Mine did that when my mother board was going out. I told her stay home and quit drinking so much. She did not listen to me, so I had to adopt a new one.
